Carmen García Gordillo

Carmen García Gordillo is a Spanish artist based in Valencia. After earning her art degree from the University of Valencia, Carmen later furthered her studies in printmaking and ceramics in Barcelona and Valencia. She has had several solo exhibitions of her work, participated in numerous group exhibitions in Spain and abroad, and has worked as an illustrator for various publishers. Carmen likes to explain herself through her art, and for that reason her work is inspired not only by her daily life, but also by her dreams, thoughts, obsessions and passions such as gardens, labyrinths, proverbs, and the moon. Recently she has been studying meditation and mindfulness, trying to establish links between art and meditation. Find more of her work at carmengarciagordillo.com, and follow her on Instagram and Facebook.
